Commenting Guidelines

In the Siburt Institute and at Mosaic, we encourage conversation and value diverse perspectives. We hope you will join the conversation by commenting on the content we publish. As you choose your words and tone, please follow these guidelines.

Guidelines

  1. Be kind. Whether agreeing or disagreeing with an article or another’s perspective, please treat one another with dignity, kindness, and common decency.

  2. Refrain from using slurs, profanity, or other offensive language. Refrain from verbally attacking or threatening any person.

  3. Ensure your comments pertain to the subject matter.

  4. In general, do not use this platform to ask for money or to promote your business or product.

  5. You may comment anonymously or with your name. Either way, if you enter your email address, it will be visible to site administrators only and will not be displayed publicly on the site.

Comment Moderation

  1. We moderate all comments before they are published. Thank you for your patience, especially if submitting a comment outside of standard business hours.

  2. We reserve the right to determine each comment’s suitability for the site. We may, at our sole discretion, deny or remove any comment, and we may do so without any explanation or notification to the commenter.

  3. If a comment is published which you believe is inappropriate based on the guidelines above and the spirit behind them, please flag the comment for review. To do so, click or tap the flag icon in the upper right corner of the comment. We will review the comment in question and determine whether to remove it from the site.
